Marge Scieszka, Director Marge Scieszka was a middle school math teacher in
Greenville County for 17 years. She then
worked as the Mathematics Coordinator in Greenville and Anderson School
District Five, and was involved in many state committees dealing with
mathematics. She has served as President of the South Carolina Teachers of
Mathematics and the South Carolina Leaders of Mathematics Education. While she was in Anderson Five, she began to work with a program called AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination), and this led her back to Greenville and to Graduate Greenville. Marge is very excited to take this turn in her career working with students, teachers, administrators and the community. Marge and her husband live on Paris Mountain. Mary Beth Culbertson, Program Associate Mary Beth comes from the corporate world, where she ran her own training company for fourteen years. She moved back to Greenville two years ago and became so involved in education and non profits, she sold her company to devote all her time to helping improve education in Greenville, SC.
