Summer Enrichment

A four-week Summer Enrichment program is provided in July on the high school campus. Students are given opportunities to improve math and literacy skills while acclimating themselves to the culture of their high school. They are also involved in hands-on career exploration, art projects, and field trips to local businesses and college campuses. During the program, students become familiar with high school staff and the facility.  At the end of the program, students are assigned to the school graduation coach who will support them and their families during the school year. Additionally, each student who wishes is matched with a mentor to work with them throughout the year. The summer experience, the graduation coach, a school-year mentor, and familiarity with the high school and its staff increase the chances of success for these students.
